Woman injured in Junction City crash

JUNCTION CITY, Ore. -- A four-car crash along Hwy. 99 Saturday morning sent a Junction City woman to the hospital.

Oregon State Police said the crash happend around 10:25 a.m. 

Chloe J. Cloud, 20, of Junction City, was driving a Volkswagen bug, veered onto the shoulder and then over-corrected, according to police. Cloud then spun around back onto the road, and was hit by a Ford F-150 pick up truck traveling on the highway.

Two other vehicles crashed as they tried to avoid hitting the original crash.

The driver of the pick up, Jessica Danon, 37, of Junction City, had minor injuries but was not taken to the hospital.

Nobody else was injured.

Police said Cloud had a 5-year-old girl in the car, but the girl was in a car seat and unharmed.

Police said Cloud's injuries are not life-threatening.
