Woman shot; police looking for suspect

EUGENE, Ore. - A woman suffered a gunshot wound Monday evening, the Eugene Police Department said.
At 6:41 p.m., officer responded to reports of a dispute with shots fired in the 1200 block of W. 6th Avenue, west of Blair Boulevard.
When police arrived, they found a 32-year-old woman had been shot.
She was taken to a local hospital. The severity of her injuries is not yet known.
Police said it appears the victim was shot inside one of the nearby apartments and made her way outside to the parking lot.
Officers are working to develop suspect information. Anyone with information on the caseis asked to call (541) 682-5111.

@PleaseBeSmart @FrankCastle That area does have the distinction of being part of what is known as "felony flats".
 @souptonuts Yeah, I know. Just doesn't even come close the the ghettos in most cities. =D Eugene as a whole is very nice.
