Would-be robber leaves bank empty handed

EUGENE, Ore. - A would-be bank robber who handed a teller a note demanding cash Monday morning left empty handed.

The suspect walked into the Wells Fargo Bank at 710 Polk Street and handed a teller a note demanding money. After an exchange with the teller, the suspect left without any loot.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s, 5-foot-6 and clean shaven. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing white sunglasses, a bandana on his head, a grey jacket and jeans.
