CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio -- For some families decking the halls this holiday season, finding the right Christmas tree is everything. However some people might pay a little more for the perfect tree.
A tree farm in Ohio is charging up to $2,500 for imported trees, handpicked from the woods of North Carolina. While the farm owner, David Kay, said that his flawless fir tree is worth every penny, he does offer cheaper options as well.
"We carry the 40 dollar, 4-foot tree, up to a 1,000 dollar 16-foot tree." said Kay.
Kay imports Fraser fir trees, which some consider to have the best scent of any species that Kay carries.
For tree shoppers like Sharon Roth, the look of the tree is also worth paying a little bit more.
"I've never seen a place with so many perfect trees!" said Roth.
