Romney goes to Europe, causes international stir
LONDON (AP) - Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has caused a stir in Britain by questioning whether the country is prepared to pull off the Olympic Games without a hitch.
The former Massachusetts governor is visiting Britain Thursday while trying to show he has what it takes to represent America on the world stage.
But instead of highlighting ties with America's staunchest ally, Romney may have embarrassed the Brits instead.
Romney said in an interview that it's unclear whether Britain can overcome the issues that have dogged its final preparations for the Games.
Leaving a meeting with British Prime Minister David Cameron, Romney said he expects the Games will be successful.
Cameron said Romney and others will "see beyond doubt that Britain can deliver."

The Obama media is at it again, knit picking every little grain of rice or in this case (tea bag) they can to discredit anyone opposing the "Progressive Socialist Movement". The security obviously was in question if you sort through the liberal fog. Either report unbiased or don't report at all. Media is supposed to report the news not make it. Get off the political stump and let the candidates support themselves. If they need help they don't deserve to run the greatest country in the world, irregardless of what some of you think.
And this is who thinks he can run America...mmmm He embarrasses me as a citizen. Open mouth insert foot. Just because you can does not mean you should and...Can you turn it up side down and shake it away???  the romoney blues...
Romney, having been in charge of the Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City which did go off without all the problems we have seen for the ones in Britain has more right to make a comment than most....
