Lottery winner's meth-fueled celebration ends in explosion

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - One of two south-central Kansas brothers whose drug-fueled celebration of winning $75,000 in the lottery that resulted in an explosion in their duplex has been released from a hospital.
The Wichita man suffered second-degree burns to his hands, arms and chest Friday night after he refueled butane torches that he and his brother planned to use to smoke drugs.
A woman at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital on Monday said the burn victim had been released, but she didn't have further details.
The other brother told police Friday they had purchased marijuana and methamphetamine to celebrate their lottery win.
He was arrested, but details about charges were not available Monday because of the President's Day holiday.

You need a torch to smoke your drugs? Kiss all that $75,000 Â and then some goodbye.
I just realized, that if the hospital and doctors don't get all of their $75K, the owner of the house or the insurance company will. I just love stories like this with a happy ending. Makes me want to cry (for joy that is).
Ahahahahahahahahahahahhhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!
Good stuff
You gotta love it. Karma is such a beautiful thing.  Hopefully all their $75K will go towards hospital and medical bills. What a pair of dumb ass's.
