Woman's excuse for police chase: 'I was topless'
A Florida woman who crashed a truck after police tried to pull her over said she didn't stop because she was topless and on her way to surprise her boyfriend.
The Gainesville Sun reports that 35-year-old Mandy Ramsey was speeding in a pickup truck when a patrol car began to chase her on Saturday.
Ramsey kept going and ran a stop sign before crashing into a tree, the newspaper reported.
Ramsey was arrested and booked into jail for investigation of eluding law enforcement. She was later released on a $5,000 bond.
