Artist's giant chalk lion amazes Westlake crowd
Artist Gabrielle Abbot of Seattle was shocked when she produced a large chalk mural - for free - at a Seattle public park one day and was told by a police officer to stop because she didn't have a permit. She later got a permit and has since been hired by the city to create chalk art. This past weekend she created a lion at Westlake Center. She calls the chalk art "the fun part of her job."
