Suspected monkey killer charged with lying to police
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The man accused of beating a Zoo Boise monkey to death is facing a new charge.
Michael Watkins returned to court Thursday where he was charged with providing false information to police. He also waived his right to a preliminary hearing for burglary and grand theft charges stemming from the November incident at the zoo.
Prosecutors allege a drunken Watkins beat the monkey to death after it tried to fight back.
Watkins is scheduled to be back in court Jan. 17.
After watching that movie Monkey Shine (Stephan King?) I can see where there might be some mortal combat issues with those critters. Sometimes they just do whatever the hell they want no matter how big their disciplinarian. Too much of a handful for my patience. And they bite like hell, just begging for somebody to kick their monkey ass.
Oooooh "lying to police" ...what a bad,bad man... Oh wait, the police are TRAINED to lie,to create fiction... they even lie in court and get away with it.... meh.
