By Laura RillosPost your video or pictures on YouNews and your work could end up on television. It's easy. 1. Take a picture or video of a newsworthy event, odd sighting or weather event 2. Get your picture on a computer. If you took the picture on a digital camera, upload it. Each camera is different, but you should be able to look up instructions in your user's manual. If you took the picture on a cell phone, e-mail the photo to yourself and save it to your desktop. 3. Log on to YouNews. You'll need to register for an account by filling out a form. 4. Click on Submit a Story 5. Click on browse, then find your picture. If you saved it to your desktop, click on the desktop item to find your picture. If you uploaded it using a USB cable or memory card, you should be able to find it in your Pictures folder (or wherever you saved it to, if you saved it in a different place). 6. YouNews will ask you to fill out a caption, a headline and a story. Then click on Submit. 7. After a short delay, your story will show up on YouNews. |
