'The Wallowas are perfect wolverine habitat'

Attracted by a deer carcass, a wolverine takes a picture of itself by activating a motion-sensitive “camera trap” in northeastern Oregon last year. Conservationists hope this camera-trap system will yield the first photo evidence of wolverines in the Oregon Cascades. Photo courtesy of Audrey Magoun.
