$3K reward in Oregon poaching case
A reward has been offered in the killing of this buck and the wounding of another deer.

TRAIL, Ore. - Someone illegally shot and killed a buck and seriously wounded another over the weekend, sparking a police investigation and a $3,000 reward.

A resident of northern Jackson County reported finding a dead 4-point buck in their yard off Crowfoot Road, east of Trail, Ore. The buck had a single gunshot wound to its side.

The investigating trooper found a 2-point buck wounded in a nearby pasture. He put the deer down due to its injury and salvaged the meat for donation to a local food bank.

Residents reported hearing several gunshots about 3 a.m. Saturday.
