Photos: Car swerves to miss object, crashes into icy river
NEAR GLEED, Wash. -- A 30-year-old Gleed woman drove her car off of Highway 12 and into the Naches River early Monday morning.
Washington State patrol said Hannah Applebay swerved to miss something in the road and lost control. She crossed the median and crashed into the icy water.
Applebay was taken to the hospital for minor injures. She was the only person in the car.
The accident is still under investigation.
Its cheaper and safer to just brace, or clench your teeth for impact.Â
Why are we getting news from Washington? Isn't there plenty of news around to report on instead of just grabbing space filler of the news wire? How about the rising crime rate? What happened to the Camping World franchise in Junction City? Why are there Randy Pape signs on the Beltline when they weren't supposed to be installed until the others wore out?
@Biff Johnson I am with ya 100% on why is it they need to keep posting Washington News in Eugene Oregon... Oh I know..its because Fisher Communications .which owns KVAL is based in Seattle Wa..Like we really give a flying.,you know what, about Washington...
Lets see Pot is legal and she swerved at something on the road and thank god is ok.hmmmmmmmmm  sounds like she might have had a little toke or something.
