Two things; 1. Had that been a Democrat, there would have been no story. 2. The legislature hardly ever reviews old laws to see if they are still valid, they just pile on a bunch of new laws to make it look like they are doing something each session.Â
@souptonuts I don't know how you came to the conclusion you did. i for one saw this as more a comment on a law than the person who broke it. I bet if you tried you could find a Democrat who did it and file a formal complaint.
So under this law, anyone who showed his or her ballot to his or her spouse or other relative ("any person") before tucking it into their envelopes and shipping it off is in violation of this law....
