Eugene, Ore--Oregon head coach Chip Kelly talks with media on Tuesday about facing Nevada.

Here are a few notes about Saturday's matchup.

• Nevada’s lone victory against the Ducks was a 13-6 result in Eugene in 1947.

• The Wolf Pack’s last visit to Autzen Stadium, in 2003, was the last time Oregon failed to sellout it’s home venue. Saturday’s game will mark the 75th consecutive sellout.

Oregon leads the all-time series against the Wolf Pack, 5-1, and has won five straight since 1996.


• UO has won 17 of 18 home openers, dating to 1993. The only loss during that span was a 30-24 defeat vs. Indiana in 2004.

• The Ducks have scored at least 38 points in six consecutive home openers, averaging 48.0 points per contest.

• UO currently has a 16-game winning streak at Autzen Stadium, dating to 2008.

• The Ducks are 0-1 to start the season for just the fourth time since 1984 and have lost consecutive games for the fi rst time since a three-game skid Nov. 15 to Dec. 1, 2007.

• UO has also dropped consecutive non-conference games (albeit vs. No. 1 Auburn and No. 4 LSU) for the first time since three in a row between Dec. 31, 2003 and Sept. 18, 2004.

Oregon is 17-3 in its past 20 meetings against teams from the Western Athletic Conference with the only losses coming against Hawaii (away in 1994) and Boise State (home in 2008, away in ‘09). The Broncos are now in the Mountain West Conference.LaMichael James became Oregon’s career leader with 3,331, surpassing Derek Loville (3,296 from 1986-89). James needs six TD runs to break Loville’s school mark of 41.
