EUGENE, Ore -- Oregon point guard Malcolm Armstead has had a change of heart, and he will remain with the men's basketball team.
Armstead would have been the fifth Duck to transfer out since Dana Altman took over the program in April. He led the Ducks in assists, steals, and minutes played last season.
Last month, KVAL reported that Armstead had asked for and been granted his release from the men's basketball team.
Now, all signs point to Armstead returning to the squad. On Wednesday, Altman said the junior has reversed his decision and decided to stay at Oregon.
