Falcons sweep Tigers in Sky-Em volleyball

ELMIRA, OR - Elmira defeated Junction City in three straight sets Thursday night to up its record to 12-3 overall and 3-1 in Sky-Em volleyball.
The Falcons controlled the first set, winning 25-9.
The second set was a different story. The Tigers led 23-21, but Elmira got four straight points, culminated by a block by Jessica Lay to take the set 25-23.
The Falcons then took the third set 25-17 to win the match.
Elmira plays in the Cottage Grove tournament this weekend while Junction City plays at Sisters next Thursday.
