Lane women win NWAACC championship

KENNEWICK, WA - The Lane Community College women's basketball team won the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges women’s basketball championship Tuesday night be defeating South Region rival Clackamas Community College 51-49.

Freshman guard Renee Lucero hit the game-winning three-pointer with 3.7 seconds left.  Lucero finished with a game-high 15 points and was named tournament MVP.

This is the Titans fourth title in the last eight years under head coach Greg Sheley.
