Lowell, Central Linn advance to semifinals

It was scoreless after the first quarterback, but the Lowell Red Devils weathered the storm, a down pour at Pleasant Hill High School, to defeat the Dufur Rangers 44-8 on Saturday to advance to the 1A semifinals.

Lowell will meet St. Paul in the semis.

In 3A, Pleasant Hill's season came to an end at Cascade Christian with a 52-13 loss.

In 2A, Central Linn shutout Kennedy 6-0 to advance to the semifinals against Oakland.
