EUGENE, Ore. -- Autzen Stadium is set to host the hundreds of Duck football fans on the field Saturday afternoon for the program's ever-popular "Fan Day."
The festivities for fans of the University of Oregon football team start at 11 a.m. with the unveiling of the new Sprint t-shirts and the year's new slogan. Part of the proceeds made on t-shirt sales go to the Oregon Marching Band and Cheerleaders.
From 12 to 2 p.m. fans will have the opportunity to meet their favorite football players. Spectators will be limited to only one autograph per player because of the high projected attendance.
There will be plenty of other opportunities to get your photo with football players, the Duck mascot or cheerleaders. The Moshofsky Center Duck Store will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for fans to load up on gear for the year.
The East Stadium entrance will be the only way into the "Fan Day" festivities. Autzen Stadium staff ask that fans park in the east lot of the stadium, near PK Park, the school's baseball field. The parking lot will be accessible starting at 10:30 a.m. through Entry 5 off of Leo Harris Parkway.
The Autzen concession stands will not be open and food will not be available inside the stadium. People are permitted to bring bottled water into "Fan Day", there are water stations around the first level to refill water bottles.
