Six errors doom Ems against Bears

Six errors cost the Eugene Emeralds on Sunday as they lost their first game of the season to Yakima, 7-2.
Chris Burke hit a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth inning to give Eugene a 1-0 lead.
The Bears answered in the sixth. Shaun Cooper led off with a solo homer to tie it at 1-1. The Ems then loaded the bases and committed four errors which led to five more Bears runs.
Eugene and Yakima play game four fo their five game series Monday. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm.
