The Pac-12 champs led the conference in fewest yards allowed per play and were number one in sacks. That is a big thanks to second year defensive end Dion Jordan.
The junior made the move from tight end in the Spring of 2010.
Jordan was tops on the Ducks this this season in sacks (7.5) and tackles for loss (13.5).
Oregon defensive coordinator has nothing but admiration for #96. "Dion Jordan is a man-child okay. Every single snap. There is no second gear with Dion. There is no other speed but full-speed every play. All day, all long."
Aliotti added, "In the most recent years, I have never been around a guy like Dion who can go and go and go and not only can he go, he is a playmaker."
The Ducks have three more practices in Eugene before breaking for the Holidays before heading down to Southern California on the 26th. First stop, Disneyland on the 27th.
