CORVALLIS, Ore. -- With a win against Utah this Saturday, No. 8 Oregon State would become 6-0 for the first time since 1907.
The Beavers would also become bowl eligible the earliest in the season in school history.
But first things first, Oregon State must beat Utah.
The Utes head to Corvallis on a three game losing streak, but they still have plenty of weapons.
The Beavers remember running back John White all too well. Last season, White rushed for 205 yards and a touchdown in Utah's 27-8 victory over Oregon State.
"I think the world of him as a running back," said defensive coordinator Mark Banker. "Unfortunately for him, they haven't been giving him the ball. I expect them to have him back there, and he was an all-conference back last year. We'll have our work cut out for us."
