EUGENE, Ore -- Marist wide receiver Taylor Walcott signed his letter of intent to play football at Montana.

Coaches there say he could play as a freshman.

"They were really laid back,” said Walcott.  “They weren't fake like all the other coaches that recruited me were.  They were pretty straight up with me.  They told me not just what I wanted to hear, but just how things were.”

Walcott scored 21-touchdowns and caught 60-passes for 1,193 yards as a senior.

“They always have a receiver like me in their system.  A fast receiver that goes down field, and they want me to play early."
