As the coaching dominoes begin to fall, don't expect Oregon State's Mike Riley to replace Pete Carroll at USC.

Despite what the NFL "insiders" say, Riley will not leave Corvallis again.

Yes, USC likes the former Trojan assistant but so would any major program looking to make a change.

But no, Riley won't take the money and run to Hollywood.

One of the most honest and down to earth men we deal with has gone on record as saying Oregon State is his job for the now and for the future.

When Riley's name has surfaced for other open jobs in the past, he has said "the grass isn't always greener."

Riley learned that the hard way. He got burnt by leaving OSU for the big time in 1999 and was fired after three seasons with the San Diego Chargers.

Riley may very well listen to a phone call from USC Athletic Director Mike Garrett, perhaps he already has, but the Corvallis-raised Riley will not be jumping ship in the Pac-10.
