Sellout streak still alive at Autzen

EUGENE, Ore. -- The Oregon Ducks football program has a long-standing streak of selling out every ticket to home games at Autzen Stadium. However the run of 82 consecutive sold out home games was in jeopardy when the program had 3,000 tickets to move in under a week.
The University of Oregon athletic department turned to online discount deal website Groupon to offer Ducks ticket packages. Craig Pintens with UO athletics said that it was a significant turnout of students buying tickets that kept the streak alive.
The crowd at Autzen was just over 56,000 strong for UO's season opening game against Arkansas State Saturday night.
The sellout streak is in jeopardy of ending once again, as Autzen reports it has 1,500 tickets remaining for the Freson State game.
