Civil War Flashback 2008: Bellotti goes out with a bang

You don't need to flashback to far when the Ducks last played and won at Reser Stadium. It turned out to be the last Civil War for Oregon coach Mike Bellotti and what a going away present it was.

The Ducks jumped all over Oregon State beginning with a Jeremiah Masoli 17-yard touchdown strike to Jeff Maehl.

LeGarrette Blount ran in from nine yards out to make it 17-7 Ducks after one quarter of play.

Just before the half, the Ducks broke it open as Jeremiah Johnson's 83-yard touchdown run, bobbling the ball and just reaching the pylon.

Then Walter Thurmond III, playing in his final Civil War, the 40-yard pick six of Lyle Moevao. 37-17 Ducks at the half.

It only got worse for Oregon State from there, a school-record 694-yards of total offense and the most points ever scored in a Pac-10 game. 65-38 Oregon.

The Ducks went on to beat Oklahoma State in the Holiday Bowl, 42-31. The Beavers regrouped to beat Pitt in the Sun Bowl 3-0.
