LaMichael is a tough guy, unless he's on Space Mountain

ANAHEIM, Calif. – Oregon star running back LaMichael James is clearly a tough guy. Anyone who saw him dislocate his elbow this season and then return to the field just a few games later won’t dispute that claim.

While he may be a fierce competitor on the field, LaMike’s tough side was certainly not on display while riding Space Mountain at Disneyland on Tuesday.

His fellow running back and friend Kenjon Barner tweeted a photo of James looking scared on the ride. “lol space mountain do somethings to u,” Barner tweeted.

The scared photo has since gone viral, even showing up on celebrity gossip site TMZ.

During a news conference on Wednesday, reporters couldn’t help but ask linebacker Michael Clay about the photo of his teammate.

“They got him at the right time, you know. That camera was put in perfectly for him to be in kind of a scared mood,” he said. “I don’t blame him. I’m afraid of heights but I still went on the Tower of Terror.”

Clay said the team is in California to win the Rose Bowl but they also know how to let loose.

“We’re also here to have some fun. The Rose Bowl comes in, but when we get downtime we can be a fun group, just have a ball,” he said.
