Prosecutor drops DUI charge against Duck football player
EUGENE, Ore. - Drunk driving charges against a University of Oregon football player have been dropped after city prosecutors determined they could not prove the man's guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
Police arrested senior defensive tackle Isaac Remington on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants after a traffic stop at 12:30 a.m. Oct. 12 at 12th and Kincaid.
Remington was cited and released and wasn't booked into the Lane County Jail, police said.
Remington registered a .06 blood alcohol level, below the legal limit, but failed a field sobriety test, prosecutors said, prompting the officer to take him in.
The city prosecutor dropped the charge, saying the city couldn't prove Remington's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
The Ducks indefinitely suspended Remington from the team Oct. 12. The suspension was lifted Tuesday.
and let's see if the past oregon state basket ball player gets out of his charges too.

Come on KVA,L you can do a better job of writing than this: " could not prove the man's guilty beyond a reasonable doubt". Should that not be: "could not prove the man's GUILT beyond a reasonable doubt" ?
