Duck fans love 'I Love My Ducks'
EUGENE, Ore. -- They call themselves "Supwitchugirl," and their class project hip-hop video "I Love My Ducks" has caught fire on the Web and with Duck fans, even being covered by a 4-year-old boy and other kids who can't get enough of the song.
With the Oregon Civl War on tap for Thursday and a Rose Bowl appearance on the line, the song -- and sentiment -- keep on going strong.
Eric Brown at 94.9 FM in Eugene says the song was one of many that recently came across his desk.
"I just threw it in there and i was like hmmm it's kind of catchy, this just might work," he said.
A DJ played the song "on his night show and phones just blew up," Brown said. "And then he called me and said, 'Eric, there's something going on with this record here. We got to play it, and that's how it pretty much happened."
Listeners are still calling: "I Love My Ducks" is one of the station's most requested songs.
Now "I Love My Ducks" t-shirts now selling fast at the University of Oregon bookstore.

"We've gotten so much support," said Jamie Slade from Supwitchugirl. "I mean look at it, there's lines of people looking coming for our shirts. This is great."
The group has run into some trouble based on their use of the Duck mascot in the video.

The likeness of the Donald-esque Duck belongs to Disney and is licensed to the University of Oregon under a special agreement. The UO athletic department has asked the group to take down the video and edit the Duck out of the video, and the student who wore the costume in the video had to sit out a game as mascot.
Slade said Tuesday that they are on "good terms" with the athletic department and that the university game them the OK on the t-shirts.
He said there is still no decision on whether the video will be shown on the big screen at Autzen Stadium during the Civil War but that they are still talking about it.
