Just try stopping the permanent passion for running in Springfield fourth grader Sebastian St. Clair.
The soon-to-be 9-year-old was born to run for distance.
"It's a whole lot easier than sprinting because sprinting you are using your energy for the first thirty seconds, you are using your energy and when you are jogging your energy lasts longer," Sebastian said.
Training at a seven-minute mile pace with his father Jason, Sebastian is gearing up for his return to Eugene's Independence Day tradition, the Butte to Butte 10-K road race.
