EUGENE, Ore. - Jason Reinhardt has a mixed martial arts record of 20 wins and 2 losses.  This August he's looking to add to his wins with another fight in the UFC, but he didn't want his rigorous training schedule to get in the way of spending time with his family.

"My brother Justin, who is also a pro fighter, he's lived here for the last 15 years while I live close to Chicago, and he told me to come out and this was a great place to train," says Reinhardt.

Jason Georgianna, owner of Art of War, tells KVAL, "He picked us to train with because, like him I'm an older fighter. Jason is 41 years old going on 42 and I'm 38 so he understands that I know how his body will respond to training versus a 21 year old fighter."

Georgianna also has 25 professional fights of his own, giving Reinhardt a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw from.

Even though Mixed Martial Arts is still over shadowed by other, more popular sports, Georgianna has hope that Eugene will be a popular spot for fighters.

"I think as the sport of mixed martial arts gets a little more recognized I can see this town embracing it in the same way it has embraced some other sports like Track and Football and Basketball," explains Georgianna.

"He's very smart, very smart this guy with his Masters Degree in Physical Education. He knows the human body and its important as a coach," adds Reinhardt.
