Counting down the top plays and achievements from the week that was in your local world of sports, Nick's Six Picks.
6. Gimme A Highburger Please: Elmira advanced to the 4A semifinals in a home win over Douglas and Bo Highburger helped set the tone by returning the opening kickoff for the TD.
5. Take DAT: De'Anthony Thomas thought he would be making plays like this FOR USC not against the Trojans. The 96-yard fake reverse on the kick return helped turn the tide in the third quarter.
4. NCU at NAIA: For the first time for a team in any sport at Northwest Christian University, the women's cross country competed at the NAIA championships and finished fourth.
3. B.M.O.C.: Quincy Alexander is going to the big man on campus Monday morning at New Hope Christian after hitting a 30-foot game winner on Friday night as the Deacons upset Eastern Oregon.
2. 222: James Rodgers is every Beaver fans favorite comeback story. The fifth year Beaver passed Mike Hass on the all-time receptions list with 222.
1B. Human Fly Paper: David Paulson has made some amazing catches during his time at Oregon, but hard to argue against the one-hander in the fourth quarter at the one-yard line.
1A. Foster The People: This play was our pick for the High School Gameday Play of the Night. Douglas may have lost at Elmira, but this was an incredible catch by Tyler Foster after a great throw by Jordan Shaffer.
