LOS ANGELES -- Even with losses to Oregon and Stanford and finishing in a tie for first place with Arizona State, it was still USC trotting onto the field for the Rose Bowl in January.

The USC Trojans begin the season as a consensus top three team in the country and gunning for their sixth straight conference crown.

Even though only four starters return on offense, USC continues to live up to its nickname of "Tailback U." The trio of Joe McKnight, Stafon Johnson and CJ Gable figure to help first year starter Mark Sanchez keep the offense moving the chains.
