CORVALLIS, Ore. -- A half-eaten cake, coffee cups, a camp fire and dozens of empty beer bottles provided evidence on the street outside Reser Stadium that students waited hours to get their hands on Civil War tickets.

The outcome of the rivalry between the Oregon State Beavers and the University of Oregon Ducks could decide whether the Beavers get a shot at the Rose Bowl.

"We've been waiting here since 6:30 a.m.." said OSU student Madison Parker. "Some people have been here since Saturday after the game."

It's all about priorities for students at OSU. Fueled by soda and energy drinks, students found ways to pass the time.

"We played Hearts, Gin Rummie, just drank energy drinks to pass the time," said student Kyle Peddicord.

All that energy will be spilling over in reser stadium when the game kicks off.
