On December 26th, 2008, Pete and Robbin Titone lost their son Joe to a sudden heart attack at the age of 34. To honor the baseball fanatic, the greiving parents could think of no better way than to give the gift of baseball. The first beneficiaries are the Kidsports baseball team from Willamette. The Joe Titone Memorial Fund helped pay for Willamette's registration, equipment and uniforms which sport the *high-5 logo* in memory of the former Churchill pitcher.
