Wearing pink trimmed jerseys and shoes for the second straight game for Coaches vs. Cancer, the Duck men won their second consecutive. A 67-57 victory over USC.

The two transfers from Chipola Junior College played big roles, Jeremy Jacob scored a game-high 19 while Malcolm Armstead added 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 asssits off the bench.

The Ducks (12-9, 4-5) make the turn in the Pac-10 season with a much better outlook for the second half. After dropping five in a row, Oregon seemed to find new life at home. Recall, the Ducks dropped their first three games at Mac Court this season.

A very costly technical foul late in the game on USC's bench, has Trojan third-year student manager Stan Holt out of job. Video of Kevin O'Neill's reaction

USC head coach Kevin O'Neill confirmed the firing to a newspaper in Los Angeles.

The Ducks try to get to .500 in conference next Saturday with part two of the Civil War in Corvallis.
