EUGENE, Ore. -- Creighton University's Dana Altman arrived in Eugene early Sunday evening, after telling his players in Nebraska he would be Oregon's new coach.

Altman's flight landed in Eugene at 5:47 p.m. He flew in aboard the private jet of Pat Kilkenny, the former UO athletics director leading the coach search.

The jet flew immediately into a private hangar. A silver Suburban pulled out minutes later, with Kilkenny driving and Altman in the passenger seat.

The University of Oregon has called a press conference for 1 p.m. Monday inside Matthew Knight Arena to introduce the 19th head coach in Oregon Men's basketball history.
