Eugene is known as Track Town USA. Today's Festival will showcase the heritage of track and field in Eugene by highlighting some of the “Men of Oregon” as well as the athletes who participated in the 1972, 1976 and 1980 Olympic Trials held in Eugene.

 

Free Spectator Shuttles – 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Festival Stage
9 a.m. to 11 a.m. – On the Video screen: 1972, 1976, 1980 Olympic Trial highlights; Bill McChesney, Jr. profile and History of University of Oregon/Track Town, USA
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Live coverage of meet and Bill McChesney, Jr. profile and history of University or Oregon/Track Town USA
3 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. – The Party Tigers
4:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. – Comedy by Leigh Anne Jashweay-Bryant
5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Marv Ellis and His Imaginary Friends
8 p.m. to 10 p.m. – G-Soul and Gospel Crew

Festival – 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Highlights include: Simulcast of video boards throughout festival on monitors, post-event athlete interviews.

Starting Block – 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Activities include: Ancient Olympics Amazing Facts Race and make a “hands-on” visit to Track & Field Equipment tent.

9:30 a.m. Walking tour to Willamette River North.

Competition – 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hayward Field opens at 10 a.m.
