EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- Aretha Thurmond, Suzy Powell-Roos and Stephanie Brown Trafton have qualified for the U.S. Olympic team in the women's discus throw.

Thurmond won her second straight Olympic trials with a throw of 213 feet, 11 inches (65.20). Powell-Roos, 31, made her third Olympics, but will return for the first time since 2000 after being injured for the Athens Games.

Brown Trafton had only two throws over 200 feet before this season, but has the world's second-longest throw this year, and threw 205-6 on Sunday to earn her spot.
