Sprinter Gay back on track after Eugene 08 injury
BEIJING (AP) -- U.S. sprinter Tyson Gay says he's "injury-free" after completing a workout at Beijing Normal University.
The defending world champion in the 100 and 200 meters showed no obvious signs of discomfort Sunday while running at a track near the U.S. training center. Gay completed sprints of 60, 80 and 100 meters during a workout that was open to reporters.

He already had qualified for the 100.
After the workout, Gay said he felt no pain and was "pretty confident."
Qualifying starts Friday in the men's 100 meters.
