The Beavers defeated the Trojans earlier this season at Gill Coliseum, but USC will be desperate for a win after losing to Oregon. KVAL's Nick Krupke has a Pac-10 Road Report from Los Angeles

The Beavers did nearly everything right at UCLA except for shoot the ball the well, sound familiar?

A 34.5% shooting night at Pauley Pavilion led to another missed oppurtunity in the Pac-10 for the Beavers.

The 65-56 defeat to UCLA is the latest failure for an ever growing program that now is just a game up on rival Oregon for eighth place in the conference. OSU is tied with Wazzu (6-9).

The good news? USC is next.

Craig Robinson says is it's a bad matchup for his guys, but the Beavs were 6-points better than the men of Troy last month in Corvallis.

Like the Ducks before their win over USC, OSU enters Saturday 0-3 at the Galen Center.

But after USC scored a 57-year-old Trojan low 12-points in the second half, anything is possible.

As the Beavers know, a strong finish over these final three games will keep them out of the first day of the Pac-10 tournament.
