The annual awards, hosted for the second straight year by ESPN's Neil Everett, puts special emphasis on the state's outstanding high school athletes. Oregon and Oregon State athletes also received accolades.

The Axemen of South Eugene High School won a 2-0 victory against the Panthers of South Medford in the Axemen’s second OSAA playoff game at home Tuesday night.

This win awarded the no. 4-ranked Axemen another home field advantage for the state quarterfinals against no. 5-ranked McKay this Saturday, Nov. 9, at South Eugene High School.
