Oh say can you sing the national anthem at a Blazer game?
By KATU NewsPORTLAND, Ore. - It's become a Portland ritual of sorts: the late-summer national anthem tryouts for the Trail Blazers. On Wednesday, potential candidates tried out their pipes in hopes of landing a spot at center court before an upcoming home game in front of over 20,000 fans. Hopefuls ranged from tiny tykes with amazing musical powers to groups singing in harmony. And then there were those who would have gotten an early exit had Simon Cowell been judging.
