Beavs first sweep of the Ducks in 17 seasons
Oregon State (10-12, 4-6) held the Ducks to 17 second half points for its first Civil War season sweep of Oregon (12-10, 4-6) since 1993, 62-42.
Omari Johnson was one-point shy of a career-high with a season-best 18 points, 16 coming in the first half.
Calvin Haynes and Jared Cunningham both had 11 points in the Beavers largest margin of victory over Oregon since the 1981-82 season (43 points).
For the second time this season, Oregon entered the rivalry having won two straight games.
Back on January 10th, OSU won 64-57. It was the start of a five-game slide for the Ducks.
Malcolm Armstead and Matt Humphrey were the only Oregon players in double-figures with 10. Michael Dunigan added 9.
Oregon shot just 29.8% (14-47) from the floor. Oregon State countered by firing at a 50% clip (21-42).
The Ducks shot less than 12% from three-point distance (2-17).
After a breakout performance in last Saturday's win over USC, Jeremy Jacob was held to only 1-point (0-3 FG).
Tajuan Porter tallied just 3 points (1-6 FG).
Both schools now head to the Arizona desert for their second to last road trip of the season.
Oregon State visits Arizona State on Thursday, while the Ducks will be in Tucson against the Wildcats.
