The forecast is pretty persistent across western Oregon for the next few days. A few high clouds will move overhead today, but the region will remain dry. High temperatures will be above average for the rest of the workweek.

The Willamette Valley remains sunny this Tuesday. Temperatures will reach the mid to upper 70s today. Winds will be primarily from the southwest between 5 and 10 mph.  Wednesday is setting up to be a lot like Tuesday. Highs will be in the mid 70s with plenty of sunshine and dry weather. Come Thursday temperatures will begin cooling a little. Highs will be in the lower 70s with a few clouds on the way. Friday through the weekend spotty showers become possible across the region.

On the Oregon Coast expect sunshine and mild weather for the next few days. A bit of fog is possible this morning, but will clear out by the afternoon hours. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s. Wednesday and Thursday will hover around 70 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Friday through the weekend a few showers are possible. As of now, the best chance for rain is on Sunday.

In the Umpqua Valley sunshine will hang around all day. A few high clouds will push in from the south, but these will be high cirrus clouds. Highs this afternoon will warm into the upper 70s and lower 80s. Winds will be from the southwest between 5 and 10 mph. Wednesday’s highs should hover around 80 degrees under more sunshine. Cloud cover and rain fall become possible as the region heads into the weekend.
