Rain is rolling into Oregon this morning and will be present across most of Western Oregon as some point between now and Saturday afternoon. Skies will stay cloudy and winds will be gusty as this storm rolls in. Shower will be heavy at times and fairly widespread.
In the Willamette Valley sky cover will be mostly cloudy this Friday. Isolated rain may occasionally roll into the area from the coast, but the majority of the day should be dry. Temperatures will warm into the lower 80s. Winds will be gusty at times as this storm moves into the state. Starting Friday night, after 10pm or so, rain should increase in intensity and become more widespread. Saturday morning is looking wet, while the afternoon sits a touch drier. Temperatures will only manage to hit the lower 70s. On Sunday, more cloud cool and wet weather is expected. Highs will stay in the lower 70s and a second round of morning rain is possible.
Along the coast winds will be blowing as our storm moves in off shower. Skies will stay cloudy with off and on rainfall this Friday. Temperatures will warm to the lower 70s. The breeziest time of day is looking to be around 3 and 5 pm. Saturday will be wet nearly all day long. It may be possible for a few dry hours to make an appearance, but nearly all day long showers are expected. Highs this weekend will sit in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Sunday should repeat Saturday pretty closely with all day rain, cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 60s.
Rain is even expected in the Umpqua Valley. Today most of the showers will hold of, though a few locations to the north may get some rain. Skies will stay mostly cloudy with afternoon temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. Overnight tonight, rain will move through before wrapping up late Saturday morning. Highs on Saturday should be cooler, only in the lower 80s. A second round of rain is expected Sunday with more clouds and highs only in the upper 70s.
