Mary's Peak Summit is an alpine meadow.The summit parking lot is 9 miles up from hwy 34.
As you near to very top is becomes an Alpine meadow. To reach the very tip top, is a half mile hike from the summit parking lot. Many people ride their mountain bikes up to the top. The bees were very abundant today.. they seemed to just swarm around you the minute you stopped to take pictures or get out of your vehicle. They look like an over sized honey bee, and they are aggressive.
