The Scandinavian Festival in Junction City features many dancing groups, including youthful dancers at different ages levels. All of the groups dress in traditional Scandinavian costumes for the dances.
One young group performed a traditional folk dance where two girl dancers vie for the attention of a single boy. In the first picture we can see the high spirited nature of the dancing. The second and third photos feature another pair dancing together. In the last photo, you can see the girl defiantly thumbing her nose at her rival, as she dances with the boy.
