Deer Injured Or Killed

We were walking home deeper in the Fern Ridge area.Off west 11 th/Acorn streets.(Just off the bike path). When I saw a woman who had her dog off the leash. It's a (black and white pitbull mix). Then I told the person with me and we ran away to the other side. Then I saw an aldult male deer looking at us.Then, all of a sudden, the dog came out of the dry marsh and it chased the deer onto the bike path.We started walking very fast and that's when I heard 8 gunshots coming from the other side. The woman was wearing a yellow long sleeved tee shirt with camel colored khaki pants and tennis shoes. She was in her late 30's to early 40's with mid-lenght dirty or sandy blonde hair. There was a bicyclist who was passing by just before the gunshots rang.
