I applaud this effort! Quality raw cannabis shouldn't cost over $5 a gram. The inflation-adjusted street price of pre-prohibition cannabis is around $13 an ounce!

Quality medication that is unadulterated and pure will be beneficial patients. Competition between dispensaries will set a high standard that will encourage analyzing the medication available and give patients the security of safe access.

We will let the FDA determine quality and purity. There will be no competition between dispensaries, because selling marijuana in any form in Oregon is illegal.

M74 SAYS: Felonies that include violence/theft in last 5 years bars participation in a distribution center. Drug related offenses not referenced, meaning any drug related felony criminal could operator a distribution center. NO ON M74.

Just remember WITH a Dispensary. THAT NOW the goverment is involved! And that ALWAYS causes problems. (taxes, regulations)My opinion(and several growers and caregivers I know) is keep it private. Stay just the way it is with caregivers and growers.

The Help and Hope Group supports M74. We also help OMMP cardholders now in Eugene every day. The law works okay now but M74 with the right citizen input into regulations could create a template for the rest of the country.Change is scary at first.
